Water Balloons!

It was quiet in the house this afternoon....too quiet.  I went to investigate what was going on and found all three kids on the back porch filling water balloons, and LOTS of them.  Let the battle begin!

Watch out Kermit.  Here comes Froggie!

A few minutes into the water balloon fight the wind started picking up.  Look at Froggie's hair!  Love it!

And then it started to rain.... hard.  No worries, the kids loved it!  Both of the boys were trying to chase down Felicity!

Poor Froggie, he tries so hard to keep up!

If you can't keep up with your opponent, get her while she is picking up more balloons.  Good strategy Froggie!

Success for Froggie!

 

Now both the boys gang up on Felicity!  Don't worry, she can handle them!

 

Oh no!  A collision!  Felicity is running over to make sure everyone is ok!

 

 

This doesn't look good....

 

 

Nope, Not good at all!!!

 

 

Nothing a few snuggles and kisses from Mom couldn't fix.  Within minutes both boys had their sights set on Felicity.

 

Here come Kermit!

Felicity wasn't so lucky!

 

These kiddos sure know how to have a good time.  

 

 

After lots of running, "trash talk", and laughter, the balloons were gone, the rain had stopped, and I had three very happy children!

 

A Hard Fought Battle!

Seven hours at the pool vs. Froggie? 

 

I think the pool won this round!  No worries, Froggie has already planned a rematch....Tomorrow!

Camping Trip

While Felicity was at girls camp, I took the little boys on a camping trip!  They had a blast playing at the playground. 

 

Both of the boys love playing in the fire!  They helped make dinner.  Froggie was very pleased with the finished product!

What camping trip would be complete without silly pictures in front of the tent?

Kermit wasn't so sure about Froggie's pose!

Which just crushed Froggie.

It didn't take long to make up!  These boys are the best of friends!

Seeing how much they love each other makes me so happy!

I couldn't let them have all the hugs!

Oh Froggie, you are so funny!

We only stayed one night, but we had a great time and are looking forward to our next campout!

Super Heroes!

Let me introduce you to my personal super heroes!  Up first is Batman!  Froggie has decided he wants to change his name to Batman!

 

His weapon of choice?  The vacuum cleaner attachments of course!

Batman spends hours every day practicing his moves!

They are pretty fancy moves!
 

Whoops, messed up the landing on that one!

Batman has a good sense of humor about it!

Fix the glasses....

Pick up the weapon....

And we're back in business!

 Seriously, he happily does this for hours!

Kermit has to get in on the action!  He wins modesty points.  His weapon of choice?  A light saber (made from a pool noodle.  GENIOUS!!  My sister made these with the boys last summer and they are still the favorite toy!)

 

Although Spiderman got rid of his weapon to do some cartwheels...

throw some punches....

and do some high kicks!

Now that you've met the opponents, let the battle begin.  Kermit chased Froggie around the yard.

Froggie eventually turned around and surprised Kermit with a full on attack!  Love the surprised look on his face!

Revenge will be his!!  Watch out Froggie!

All play came to an end at this point.  Kermit called Froggie Captain Underpants.  Froggie was not amused!

All was made better with a knock on the head....

And Froggie was off.  CHARGE!!!!

Pretty much the perfect way to spend the evening!
